Animal News

Please note:?While our goal is to provide opportunities for our visitors to see all the animals in our care, there are times when an animal may be off view or given access to their indoor space in order for our team to provide the best care possible.

Today’s Updates

Discovery Forest and Elephant House buildings are closed. All other buildings are now open.

Manatees will be off view.

Roo Valley will be closed today due to the weather.

Black Rhino will go inside at 4:30PM

Otters will have access to their indoor habitat.

Bears will have access to their indoor habitat.

White Lion, Cougars, and Malayan Tigers will be off view.

Painted Dogs and African Lions will have access.

African Savannah animals will be off view.

Hippos will be off view due to the weather.

Cheetahs will have access to their indoor habitat.

Little Blue Penguins will be off view.

African Penguins will have access to their indoor habitat.

Zoo Rides & Attractions

New safety features including plexiglass in between rows will keep riders socially distant and safe!

Safari Train: Open from 2:30pm-close

Conservation Carousel: 2:30pm-close

Rides are an included benefit of Platinum and Gold Members. Standard members and non-members may purchase tickets at each respective attraction.

*Hours may vary due to inclement weather, maintenance, and low attendance.

Directions

The Cincinnati Zoo is located at 3400 Vine St., Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.

The main Zoo lot is open! Please pay attention to signage in the event this parking lot fills, we will begin directing to the overflow lot on Louis Avenue.

Visitors may enter the Zoo using the Pavilion Entry Building from the Main Parking Lot, equipped with stairs, elevators and escalators to get to bridge level. Our new Erkenbrecher Entrance will also be open as an alternate walk-in entry.
